The App was presented by the Councillor for Historical Heritage, Elvira Jorge, and the President of Cicop, Miguel Ángel Fernández Matrán.

This application, which will be active from March in 8 languages (Spanish, French, English, German, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish and Finnish), is developed around three options that report on nearly 200 assets of cultural interest in La Laguna.

The first of these options is focused on cultural heritage. Any user, regardless of location, inside or outside the city, can consult the existing cultural assets in the Cultural Heritage Manager of San Cristobal de La Laguna Cicop Foundation. These assets are geolocated on a map. The user can filter the assets by type: religious architecture, contemporary, movable property, etc., and find aspects such as historical background of the property, images, related assets and additional information.

A second option, Cultural Heritage “Near Me”, specially designed for those who visit the city, incorporates maps with the route to follow from the location to the selected property, also showing a brief description of the route, as well as distance and estimated time of travel.

In a third option the user can see the routes that the Cultural Heritage Manager has published for the Cultural Center of San Cristobal de la Laguna. Once selected a route, you will be shown a map with the route to follow, also representing each of the cultural assets integrated into it (start, intermediate points and end of the route). A description of the route to be followed will also be shown.

The application will be constantly connected to the Cultural Heritage Manager of the CICOP Foundation, obtaining all its information (geolocations, images, descriptions, etc.) from the database created by the CICOP Foundation.
